Welcome to my little corner of the world and passionate pursuit. My name is Lisa Evans and I am a lover of all things folk art, antique, vintage and primitive. I am a lifelong creator and primarily self taught in my desired mediums. For more than 28 years I have created paper mache character art primarily for the Christmas holiday. My Santa and Snowman figures have been coveted and collected until somewhat recently by an only local audience. In 2016, I gave up my “real” job to dedicate myself full time to creating a more varied and diverse product line. It was at that time that I developed a unique process to apply clay embellishments to architectural salvage and antique pieces. Special layer painting is then used to achieve an authentically old and hopefully true to the original “canvas” piece. The new and varied product line, along with the old, has taken me to many wonderful places, countless juried shows in many states and here on the world wide web. I have the great joy of being a nearly lifelong resident of Vermont. My home is a renovated schoolhouse where I have not only resided for the majority of my adult life but have raised a family and experienced all of the joys and sorrows of a long life lived in. With my family raised, it now serves not only as my humble abode, but as my office, studio and gallery for Folk For All Seasons. I love what I do and thank all who visit and patron be it here on this site or if I bump in to you in person somewhere in my travels. So welcome to Folk For All Seasons and I am so pleased to meet you.
